Manhattan to Atlantic City by party bus runs $1,195-$1,695 flat-rate round trip for a 16-24 passenger group, including pickup, 6-8 hours at the casino, and return. Drive time is 2.5-3 hours each way via the Lincoln Tunnel, NJ Turnpike, and Atlantic City Expressway. Here's the full breakdown — pricing, schedule, casino packages, and the reasons a party bus beats a car rental for 10+ person groups.
Flat-rate pricing by vehicle
- Executive Sprinter Van (14 pax): $1,195 round trip, 10 hours
- Standard Party Bus (16 pax): $1,295 round trip, 10 hours
- Premium Party Bus (24 pax): $1,495 round trip, 10 hours
- Large Party Bus (32 pax): $1,695 round trip, 12 hours
- Luxury Limo Bus (20 pax): $1,895 round trip, 10 hours
Every rate is flat — not hourly. Includes chauffeur, fuel, commercial insurance, onboard amenities, and holds at the casino. Tolls ($35-$40 round trip) and 20% gratuity are billed separately.
The standard Atlantic City itinerary
- 11:00 AM — Pickup at Manhattan hotel or apartment
- 11:15 AM — Cross Lincoln Tunnel, onto NJ Turnpike South
- 1:30 PM — Arrive Atlantic City — most groups drop at Borgata, Hard Rock, Ocean, or Caesars
- 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM — Group at the casino (7.5 hours)
- 9:00 PM — Depart Atlantic City
- 11:30 PM — Back at Manhattan drop-off
If your group wants a late return, we offer a 13-hour extended package (12 PM pickup, 2 AM return) for an extra $200-$300 depending on vehicle.
The four big Atlantic City casinos our groups use
Borgata. The volume favorite. We drop at the VIP porte-cochère with casino-host coordination for groups of 20+. Borgata's host program comps meals and hotel rooms for qualifying play; our dispatch can connect your group with a host in advance.
Hard Rock Atlantic City. The live-music favorite. Strong Saturday-night concert program. Drop-off at the main entrance on the Boardwalk.
Ocean Resort Casino. Newest high-end property. Groups that want quieter, higher-service environment choose this over Borgata.
Caesars. Mid-tier classic. Strong for groups that want to bounce — Caesars connects via walkway to Wild Wild West and Trump Taj Mahal (closed but still accessible casino-to-casino).
Why a party bus beats a rental car for 10+ person groups
Cost: Renting two large SUVs for the day: ~$180 each × 2 = $360, plus gas (~$60), plus tolls ($80 for two vehicles), plus designated drivers who can't drink. $500+ all-in for 10-14 people in a way that splits the group.
vs. 16-passenger Party Bus: $1,295 flat ÷ 14 people = $93 per person, everyone drinks, everyone stays together, no one drives, no designated driver needed.
The tiebreaker: you can drink on the bus legally (NY and NJ both exempt chartered bus passenger compartments from open container laws). You cannot drink in a rental car. On a 5-hour drinking-focused day at the casino, not being able to start on the bus and continue on the bus is a big deal.
Tunnels, tolls, and drive-time variability
The Lincoln Tunnel is the unavoidable chokepoint. Friday 11 AM out of Manhattan is 15 minutes. Friday 5 PM return is 40 minutes. Saturday departure times are typically fine; Saturday returns after 10 PM are smooth.
NJ Turnpike traffic pattern: the I-95 southbound stretch between Exit 13 and Exit 8A backs up on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings. Our chauffeurs know the Garden State Parkway alternative when the Turnpike slows.
Atlantic City Expressway tolls: ~$4.50 each way, plus NJ Turnpike tolls of ~$15 each way. Round-trip toll total: ~$40 all-in. We bill at cost.
The late-night return from Atlantic City
Groups who win big don't want to leave. Groups who lose big don't want to leave either. We build in a 2 AM departure extension for an extra $200-$300 so the group gets the flexibility without panicking about the meter.
What to bring on the bus
- Ice and beverages — we provide the coolers, not the drinks
- Phone chargers — every seat has USB
- Snacks — gas-station stops are fine, but most groups pre-load sandwiches and chips
- ID — casino check-in requires photo ID for everyone over 21
- Cash/cards for gambling buy-ins — Atlantic City ATMs charge $8-$10 fees
How to book
